Birthday Had a wonderful experience at Al Hubara restaurant. Good choice of salads and main course meals. The best was of course Um Ali . What made this experience better were the lovely staff who made my daughter’s birthday extra special. Would like to thank Olya , Rajesh and Shaina for everything. We really appreciate the warmth and hospitality they showed us.

Exceptional family stay/ Amazing customer service+ food THE BEST!!! Pick it!!!!! No REGRETS, 10/10… excellent /11 NIGHTS / full board. Don’t be fooled by the traditional looking aesthetics.. it is a Beautiful resort:) Stayed in rooms 904 and 902/ Aug Exceptional Family Stay — Highly Recommended Family of six, including four older teenagers. Overall Rating: 10/10 This was my first-ever TripAdvisor review, which says a great deal about the impression this hotel made on our family. We usually travel on an all-inclusive or full-board basis, so cleanliness, food and service are especially important to us. Although the hotel’s traditional appearance initially seemed somewhat dated, the peaceful atmosphere, spacious public areas and exceptional hospitality quickly changed our minds. We would happily return. The Highlights ● Outstanding, genuinely caring service ● Spacious, clean and comfortable family rooms ● Excellent food with plenty of variety ● Flexible restaurant opening hours ● Superb pool service and complimentary cabanas ● Large, modern 24-hour gym ● Excellent Wi-Fi throughout the resort ● Affordable taxis and easy access to Doha attractions ● Peaceful atmosphere without feeling dull or overcrowded at all! Our room was extremely spacious for a family of six, and we were fortunate to receive an upgrade to the ninth floor, just below the suites. The small seating area made it feel almost like a suite and provided valuable extra space. Each room had two single beds, so the hotel arranged an additional bed in both rooms. Everything was clean and comfortable, and most importantly, there was no mould. The main area for improvement was the bathroom. The grouting could have been cleaner, and some fixtures would benefit from updating. This was more an issue of appearance and refurbishment than a serious cleanliness concern. A Wonderful Welcome: We arrived at 3:00am after missing dinner and were extremely hungry. As we were staying on a full-board basis, the team immediately arranged for extra beds and sent room service with a trolley of freshly prepared sandwiches, salads, fruit, canned drinks and hot, freshly fried chips. Everything was served in high end glassware with silver cutlery rather than plastic. After a long journey, this was a wonderful welcome and felt like the kind of service expected from high end 5 star hotels. 🙂 Exceptional Service at AL HUBARA: The staff at Al Hubara were the hotel’s greatest strength and diamond dust. We have travelled extensively and rarely encountered such a consistently warm, attentive and genuinely caring team. Requests were handled promptly, staff greeted us warmly at every meal and they remembered our preferences. They often brought us things we had previously mentioned enjoying without us needing to ask. The service never felt rehearsed; it felt sincere. Special thanks go to: ● Melissa, one of the sweetest and most welcoming people we met ● Nicolas, an amazing chef who went above and beyond to accommodate our requests ● Aye, who was consistently polite, kind and welcoming ● Amina, Adam, Aymen, Arailym, Christine, Mourlon and Eugine ● Head Chef Marouanne, who regularly visited the restaurant, spoke with guests and checked that everyone was happy Their attention to detail made our experience feel personal rather than simply service-based. Excellent Food and Flexible Dining Almost everything we tried was delicious, with plenty of variety and consistently good quality. Highlights included: ● Masala dosa with traditional accompaniments ● Special biryani and chilli paneer prepared for our family ● Eggs Benedict at breakfast ● Karak chai served in silver teapots ● Excellent Spanish lattes, available hot or cold ● Date pudding and Umm Ali ● Daily lamb ouzi with succulent, fall-off-the-bone lamb ● Friday brunch, including sweets, cakes, fruit, chocolate fountains and pizzas ● Seafood night, featuring Vietnamese rolls, tempura prawns and battered fish.. u name it!!! It was there. The Umm Ali and date pudding were particularly memorable, and I still miss them. The desserts could also be customised with toppings such as Biscoff crumble, chocolate chips and coconut. Restaurant opening hours were ideal for families with teenagers: ● Breakfast: approximately 6:00am–11:00am ● Lunch: approximately 12:00pm–4:30pm ● Dinner: approximately 6:00pm–11:30pm We never felt rushed. There was plenty of variety each day, and we never became bored. We also visited the Indian restaurant four times and thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the personal service. Pool and Family Facilities: The resort has two pools: a large main pool and a smaller children’s pool. Complimentary cabanas were a fantastic addition, and there were plenty of comfortable seating areas throughout the grounds. The pool staff were outstanding. They brought ice and water directly to guests, delivered towels without requiring cards or coupons and occasionally offered complimentary drinks. These touches were especially welcome in temperatures of 40–44°C. The main POOL was temperature-controlled and remained pleasantly cool despite the extreme heat. The pool restaurant team were equally attentive. The 24-hour GYM was another major highlight. It was large, modern and exceptionally well equipped. Our children used it late at night, sometimes around 11:00pm or midnight. The gym also provided complimentary fruit, nuts, bottled water and drinks. The adjoining showers included toiletries, towels, laundry bags, hairdryers and body cream. Our whole family loved it. Wi-Fi was excellent throughout the stay, which was particularly useful with four teenagers. There was also a volleyball area, although the heat limited how long we could play. Pros ● Warm, sincere and attentive staff ● Excellent food and wide variety ● Flexible dining hours ● Spacious family accommodation ● Clean rooms with no mould ● Excellent pool service ● Complimentary cabanas and refreshments ● Modern 24-hour gym ● Strong Wi-Fi ● Affordable taxis to Doha attractions ● Peaceful but still lively atmosphere Drawbacks ● Bathrooms and grouting could benefit from refurbishment ● The Jacuzzi felt too warm in the extreme heat ● Organised activities were limited or not clearly advertised ● The beach was pleasant but not among the finest we have visited ● Limited water sports, with jet ski hire quoted at approximately £90 per hour ● Relatively few shops, with several appearing to be closed ● The salon was disappointing: highlights and a cut were quoted at around £160, and nobody followed up after taking my contact details There are a few areas that could be updated, particularly the bathrooms. The limited shops, lack of clearly advertised activities and disappointing salon follow-up were also minor drawbacks. However, none of these issues detracted from an overwhelmingly positive stay. Activities and Resort Atmosphere: area for improvement would be the range of organised activities. We did not see yoga, Pilates, aqua aerobics or water polo advertised. These would have been welcome ways to exercise, burn off some of the delicious food and add extra fun around the pool. We just used our own ball with just us 6 while in pool . Perhaps this is simply not the atmosphere the resort aims to create, or perhaps the activities were available but not clearly advertised. The beach was pleasant and attractively curved, with a beach bar serving food and drinks, but it was not among the finest beaches we have experienced. This is understandable in Qatar, where beaches differ from those in destinations such as Egypt or Turkey. Visitors should not expect crystal-clear turquoise lagoon waters, enormous beaches or vast pools. Qatar is a relatively compact destination, and most places are easily accessible by taxi which was the highlight too. The water was reasonably clear, although there was no marine life and limited water sports. The malls were impressive, but I preferred visiting the Museum of Islamic Art, cultural centres, museums and Souq Waqif for a more traditional Qatari atmosphere. Transport and Location: The resort had relatively few shops, but this was not a major issue because taxis were readily available and inexpensive. Uber journeys for all six of us generally cost only £4–£7 to places such as The Pearl, museums, galleries and the library. The airport transfer cost approximately £11 for All 6 of us and a very luxurious uber picked us.. like a limousine type vehicle almost so to speak. Final Recommendation: This hotel exceeded our expectations. It was peaceful yet fun, not too busy but lively enough, clean and comfortable, with spacious rooms, excellent food, flexible dining hours, superb family facilities, outstanding pool service and remarkably affordable transport. Ultimately, it was the people who made the difference. Their warmth, professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond created a genuine sense of hospitality. It was worth the money we spent and because the quality of the food was 10/10 which is very rare for me to say and I can be very critical. But I have nothing to criticise about the food here. For a family of six, including four teenagers, this hotel delivered an exceptionally comfortable and memorable holiday. Do not be put off by its traditional appearance. It is actually better in real like especially the water features in the seating areas We highly recommend it and would happily return. Full board was very expensive but totally worth it if you find. A good deal and are a foody.. otherwise half board is great too:) 10/10 from our family. A Heartfelt Thank You Housekeeping: Alamin and his colleague kept the beds perfectly tidy and the room exceptionally clean. We even received chocolates. Thank you so much! He was incredibly sincere and thoughtful, spoke with our teenagers and made everyone feel welcome. We all loved him! They will never say no to anything and I MEAN ANYTHING.. a real credit to the hotel honestly ….It’s always “yes we can sort something out for you” or “we will try to meet that request”! Everything was tasty and I’m very particular. They remembered what we liked and even the mere mention of something and hey presto it would be delivered straight away without hesitation. THE FOOD : U can get karak chai AT BREAKFAST in premium silver tea pots. Medium and large pots to suit different size families. Spanish lattes in tall glassware not plastic thank god! which felt premium too and made to perfection/ cold or hot.. all as per your preference you just have to state how you wanted anything and they would do it exactly like that!!! Amazing and a total 5 star experience. Food: every item was tasty, they even had masala dosa with 3 traditional sauces. I’m craving to go back for more of that lol;). They made a special biryani at our request for us on the second day we were there ..bless and chilli paneer too and asked if we would like anything else as we were full board. Food and Deserts were amazing and tasty too especially the date pudding which was next to the signature favourite of the hotel called UMM ALLI that people used to come especially to eat there. Chocolate pudding with chocolate ganache style sauce to dye for. And they had toppings like biscoff crumble chocolate chips, coconut and lots more to add to these for satisfying pure indulgence …DELICIOUSSSS. Restaurant times are amazing too: Breakfast around 6-11 am Lunch 12 ish till 4.30 ish Dinner was 6 ish - 11.30 pm … wow what timings sooo flexible and long!!!! Tips: Ask for higher floors Room service if arrive late night or too early am if miss dinner. Email ahead of time. Ask or you don’t get !!! Ask for extra bed as complimentary The Friday brunch not to be missed amazing and the seafood night wowwwwww!!!! See the pics on their website. They have cup cakes and sweets and candies and deco is very attractive for kids alike. Great deco themes they set for brunch and sea food is super well planned and looks fabulous.. sweets, chocolate fountains fruit, cakes, biscuits .. u name it they got it covered !

Ali the kindest lifeguard Im a member and the staff at the pool area are really friendly and kind and one of the lifeguards named Ali is super friendly and kind and social with visitors

Amazing place would come again The pool was amazing its the perfect temperature and the staff they are all so friendly especially Ali the lifeguard he was amazing and so hospitable

Athrium lounge We had a nice time in athrium lounge! It is a good place to unwind, it is peaceful and quiet. El phyu was our waiter and she was very kind and attentive and informed us about a lot of offers in the hotel.
